Training at public tracks is an important part of our program to help riders
prepare for where they will race. Unfortunately availability to these tracks is not as reliable as we
would like due to weather and other circumstances. This is why Kelly MX Compound was established in
2022 in effort to supplement our training options and ensure there is always a consistent facility to
train on. The compound features a main track that is a blend of outdoors motocross and arena cross to
cover the main two styles of racing in our region. It also features an indoor arenacross style track
and a figure 8 turn track.
The tracks are constructed from the rich black top soil from the area and is an excellent base for
creating challenging obstacles such as deep ruts to drill during our training sessions. The main track
features a variety of challenges such as double jumps, rollers, a wall jump, and a variety of corner styles.
The facility offers plenty of parking for trucks, trailers, as well as two RV pads for the extended stays.
The compound is located roughly 20 minutes from Mendota, IL.
